2016 in pictures

In January 2016 I had no idea how far The flower story would come. Of course, I had an inkling but the reality was much bigger and so much better.

In twelve short months we have worked with some really wonderful couples and flowered up some beautiful venues and churches. We've taken delivery of over 50,000 stems and turned them into bouquets, urns, hanging installations, flower walls and tiny floral crowns and buttonholes. We've taken part in some fab styled shoots and have been featured on RocknRoll Bride. Our flowers have appeared in W edding Flowers and Accessories magazine and then to top it all we were a finalist in The Wedding Industry Awards 2017 for London and the South East. Oh, and then we ran our first ever workshop. Phew.

And over that time I have collaborated with some very lovely wedding suppliers, some of whom are now friends. However, I say 'I' but The flower story is more than just me. Big thanks go to Rebecca, Margaret and Richard. All of whom have helped make some very lovely and beautiful weddings in 2016 even more beautiful.
