When a dream becomes reality...

You know when you have an idea that won’t go away. An idea that drifts into your dreams and won’t disappear? And sometimes, you just have to do something about it. This photoshoot was a few years in the making (thanks Covid!) and the results are everything I dreamt of. Whimsical florals, beautiful gowns and the most stunning country home setting.

This shoot was all about leaving that important space to daydream. Taking time to step away from daily life and drawing inspiration from the stillness. As it is only when stillness falls that there is room for the unexpected.

The hushed magical surroundings of Cornwell Manor in the Cotswolds provided the inspiration and the setting for this collaboration.

The aim was to create beautiful flowery images; luxe and natural full of texture and whimsy with a dollop of ‘wow’. Our style words were fresh, light, hopeful, ethereal and details.

Showcasing two floral looks the shoot took the seasons as its starting point. Our Spring look was fresh, light, ethereal and delicate. And our Summer looks was lush, bountiful and heavy on the petals. Hello enormous arch!

To achieve this we brought in luxe florals, birch trees and jasmine plants to create beautiful bouquets, table scapes, fireplace dressings and a statement floral arch. And then our gorgeous model Ellen and star photographer Beccy brought everything to life.

What a result from the most talented team of suppliers. And a big shout out to The Flower Story team. You were amazing x
