Louise and Matthew's flower story

This one is a beauty, a little bit of English country garden and a little bit of South Africa all rolled together on a beautiful sunny summers day. Louise and Matthew wanted to reflect their English and South African heritage in their flowers and we did this with crimson touched proteas, lots of English garden roses, berries and plenty of foliage.

Louise's bouquet was a gorgeous freeform piece full of proteas and garden roses. The brief was a lovely natural scoop of scented blooms and I think we managed it.

Matthew's delicate buttonhole also featured a tiny blushing bride protea. These delicate blooms are so pretty and perfect for a quirky groom.

Matthew and Louise went for vintage style birdcages on each table. These had to echo their gorgeous garden setting and so we went a little wild with these.  Each birdcage was an explosion of proteas, roses, lisianthus, lysmachia, scabious and gypsophila.
